King Oyster Mushroom
Otherwise known as the abalone mushroom, boletus of the steppes and the king brown, this delicious mushroom forms thick edible stems and small caps. A step above the regular tree oyster in its gourmet status, the king oyster is a cool weather variety that fruits best on hardwood sawdust. It has a long shelf life and is not easily damaged in storage.
