Golden Oyster Mushroom

The golden oyster mushroom is a tropical Oyster strain that loves the warm weather. A favourite at farmers' markets because of the vivid visual appeal the golden oyster usually forms multiple clusters and will generally produce a high number of fruits which are notably smaller than other oyster mushrooms. Thin, delicate caps require gentle harvesting and careful storage. Golden oysters have a short shelf and do not do well with excessive handling and transportation.

Cooking: Golden Oysters can be used in small amounts raw to add colour to a salad, They are light and flaky and nutty in taste when cooked. Cook well until golden brown and crispy.
