Blue Shiimeji Oyster

A lovely steel blue oyster that is  ideal for Cultivating during Autumn and through to spring that produces clusters with many but generally smaller mushrooms. Marketed in Australian supermarkets as shimeji this is a great commercial strain with unique characteristics.

Temperature Range: 13 to 24 degrees

Biological Efficiency: 50 to 120%

Difficulty: Beginner

Cooking: Goes well in most dishes you would consider using mushrooms in, the smaller caps of the blue shimeji give a firmer texture. Great, simply fried until golden brown.
